Mr. Anthony Giammona '77 was honored at the Annual De la Salle School Spring Gala on Friday, May 2, at the Hempstead Country Club
When his LSMA classmates approached him for help in 2001, in the early planning stages of the De la Salle School, Anthony’s response was “Help the brothers educate underprivileged boys?... of course I’ll help them…after all…they helped me!”.Anthony has since become a major force in gathering supporters for the school.With his special, assertive and colorful demeanor, he has not only sung the praises of the De la Salle School but has embedded the wonderful mission of it into the minds of whoever he meets. The Gala was a fun, festive and memorable evening! Including many LSMA alumni, friends and family, the attendance broke records at 260+ guests and over $200,000 raised for the De La Salle School's scholarship fund
