January 24th, 2009 LSMA Pals Converge on Staten Island!
A spontaneous Mini-Reunion occurred on Todt Hill at the magnificent home of Joanne & Clem Alcamo '81 . This stately Dutch Colonial home reveals a wealth of architectural details restored to perfection by Clem himself and his wood fabrication shop: Glendale Wood Products.Joanne served a splendid dinner on a beautiful banquet table (made by Clem). Appetizers were plenty, diverse and mouth watering addictive, which was followed by hand-made manicotti, sumptuous steaks and grilled shrimp. The meal was already plenty satisfying but elevated further by an array of handmade pastries (Joann’s mom), cookies, fruits, espresso, brandy and finally (for the men, outside on the porch) cigars!
Great conversation and many laughs occurred throughout the evening, leaving all that attended with a warm feeling that the Lasallian Brotherhood is still significant and enduring!
LSMA Alumni offer much gratitude to Joanne and Clem Alcamo!
